Inspired by Plato’s Theaetetus, where Socrates and mathematician Theaetetus explore the nature of knowledge.
Its perfectly rounded silhouette was chose by design, a shape that appears simple, yet requires a remarkable degree of calculation and precision to achieve.
The engraved core wire draws from the Edo-period Yoshiwara-tsunagi motif, representing unbroken connections, while diamond-cut details reference the artistry of Japanese cut glass craftsmanship.
